profilepic-msroRoshawn Buxton (Ms. Ro) moved to Atlanta, GA. from CA. in 1992 with her young daughter (Destiny) to get a fresh start as a Respiratory Therapist and kick her dance career into full force. Three months after arriving (New Year’s eve 1993) her car was hit by a drunk driver and she sustained a broken neck. Little over a year later while still rehabbing she was struck by an 18 wheeler and discs were ruptured in her lower back. She was told by doctors she should never dance again and she should never have any more children.

Despite these trials and tribulations, the passion for dance still lived in her. Giving all glory and honor to God, over the course of a few years she gave birth to a beautiful daughter (Bree) and opened her Dance school (N Motion Dance). People would consistently ask her how she does it. Her response, “I hurt every day, but there is nothing like the power of the dance floor”. After 10 years of producing award winning dancers, the pain never ceased and more surgery was inevitably needed. This surgery left her feeling worse than she did before she had the surgery; ultimately causing her to tearfully close her school. Even though she said she was down for a minute she was not out.

In 2010 she started N Motion Productions Inc., offering assistance with choreography, stage management, event co-ordination and consulting. Under The N Motion Productions Inc. umbrella is her company, “CPR-N-Motion” where she offers American Heart Assoc. CPR, First Aid and AED training, and her dance-wear boutique ”Ms. Ro’s Dance Closet”. Located at 3761 Main St in the Historic College Park District, it offers a warm, friendly and upscale environment for your shopping pleasure. As of August 2012 Ms. Ro’s Dance Closet is the only Dance-wear boutique located in South Fulton County, GA., and the only Dance-Wear boutique located inside interstate 285 perimeter. Her passion for dance will never cease. She says, “this store gives me dance in my life and I believe I need this store just as much as I feel this store is needed in our community. The store is allowing me to meet and interacted with so many different people and I am enjoying it so much more than I ever expected. God is Amazing! “
